Austin M. Thompson

While attending UC Hastings School of Law, Austin Thompson worked with Prisoner Legal Services, and the San Francisco Public Defender's Office, serving some of this state's most vulnerable residents, In early 2004, Austin joined the renowned Bay Area criminal defense firm, Garcia, Schnayerson. As an associate attorney, Mr. Thompson was responsible for writing motions, and completing important research for the firm, as well as attaining successful outcomes in state and federal cases at the trial and appellate levels. In 2007, Austin Thompson became a partner in the firm, and continues to achieve key victories for clients in cases ranging from complex felonies and federal offenses to simple misdemeanors and DMV licensing hearings. Mr. Thompson's ability to relate to his clients, whether English or Spanish speakers, enables him to represent and assist defendants and their families in difficult legal challenges.
